Welcome to Sick Barber Licks!
- News 12/13/19: Tab for Electric Slinky added. Some small updates to Anthem, Station and Rocket Science. Since all these new songs are new and developing, and can easily change as some time progresses, I will probably just make an initial video for each, and after a certain amount of time has passed and the songs are more konkrete, add update videos for them.
Also, new Video and Show of the Month added. More tabs to come!

- News 6/8/19: Some very small updates to Morph Dusseldorf, Munchkin Invasion, House Dog Party Favor, Mirrors, Nughuffer, Onamae Wa, and Vassillios.
- News 6/1/19: Some small notes added to Loose Change, Morph Dusseldorf, Munchkin Invasion, Shadow, and Trooper McCue. Also some updates made to Voices Insane (added one little riff that leads into the repeating chord progression right before the "Cant stop all the voices" section, and wrote out the last repeating chord progression right before the song ends how Barber plays them.
The most important update is the intro chords to Save the Robots. I finally talked to Jon and got confirmation from the man himself exactly what chord hes playing, and walks up the fretboard in the intro, and then play again a half step higher before the first verse to the song begins. So those changes have been updated, as well as a note giving a little more explanation/insight behind the intro. So a huge shout out to the man, the legend, Jon "Barber" Gutwillig for the confirmation and explanation, as well as a huge shout out to Marc Brownstein for many, many talks and talks on various songs and chord progressions confirming I had them tabbed correctly, and in the few times I had a small detail missing/overlooked, giving me confirmation on them. HUGE THANKS MARC & JON!!
I'm also working on all the remaining updated videos for their respective songs/tabs that I have updated since the original video demos were recorded, the last 3 songs will be uploaded this weekend/week, and then I will be starting the long awaited Project #2 for Sick Barber Licks, the jams/riffs/licks/solos section! And I am right now officially revealing the first addition to the project! The first entry will be (drum rolllllll):
Triumph -> Helicopters from 3/08/02, at Whiskey a Go-Go! One of my favorite jams of the Sammy era, and quite possibly my favorite, most perfectly executed segue ever.
So check back in often, because we are gonna start makin' easy money pimpin' hoes in style up in here! Thanks as always everyone for the overwhelming love and support for Sick Barber Licks!

- News 4/28/19: Hey guys and gals! Hope everyone had a great Easter, and if you went, enjoyed the shows this weekend. Just wanted to give an update since it has been awhile.
First off, the show and video of the month has been updated, as well as the tour dates page.
Note 1: I apologize for the gaps in updates to the site, as my job picks up for a few months, then slows down for a few, then picks up busy again, and on and on, so I only get to work on the site during my down time. The remaining videos that need updating, and the 3 remaining songs Ive had all complete in my head for months and months now, and every time I go to start writing them out is when life/work gets crazy again(!), will be uploaded over the next few weeks.
FORTUNATELY, I'm on 3 week vacation that started this weekend, and I will have the 3 final songs written out and uploaded in the next few weeks, as well as a decent amount of the remaining videos that need to be re-recorded and updated to match their respective tabs that were updated after the videos were made. I also will be tabbing out and uploading the new song That Sample has a Name as well!
Also (LOTS of news today everyone!), I will start the jam licks/riffs/solo sections project as well, I have a few favorites of mine picked out, and have gotten a few requests from some of you as well, so that should be finally starting within the next few weeks.
NOTE 2: I will be in Ireland from 5/6 to 5/14, so not much will be uploaded during that time. I am bringing a guitar, so there is a possibility of some recorded videos and/or jams during my time there. Hope everyone is doing well, and as always, thanks for all the messages and overwhelming support these past ~2 years now since I started this whole project and building up this site into what it is today, and giving you all I can to be gettin' down to the bottom with Sick Barbers Licks!

Show of the Month:
2019-11-22: SI Hall, Syracuse, NY
Just a real, real great show. The Run Like Hell, the > Svenghali, and a lovely standalone HAB to end the first set. But man, the second is insane. Great Jigsaw, and the whole Story segment is amazing, especially the in and out of Anthem, a particularly awesome TB jam, and all the way through Orch and Rocket Science. Loving the way they are using the new songs so well so soon.

Video of the Month
2019-11-16: Anthem -> The Champions
A perfect example of why I have been saying for years that the band needs to bring in new songs, and bring back a lot of old/Shelved songs, and how those unusual matchings of songs will force them out of their comfort zone and to jam out on themes and songs they aren't used to. We got the new songs, now we just need some old bustouts.
